WW: Signs of Christmas from Down South

It may still be warm here, but I'm noticing signs of Christmas at every turn.

They may not all be super obvious as they blend in with the natural scenery, but they are a sight to behold. Yes, even without the white stuff it's beginning to look a lot like Christmas. (Even got my tree up. Yah me!)

If you are confused about my crazy life, you should know the lakehouse was only a very temporary thing and you can read more about that here. We are starting to get situated in our new home but it is certainly a process.

Happy Wordless Wednesday! Grab a photo and come join me! Just link your post below.

And feel free to stop by some of my favs...

  1. Glad to hear that you are settling in. It's also nice to hear that you are seeing signs of the season - where I am, we are just getting around to the *last* season! Except that it is getting colder, and beginning to rain more (Yea!)

Wishing your family a Merry Christmas in your new state!

  11. Seriously? Your first true "Christmas in the South" post and you didn't dress a palmetto bug in little reindeer ears or other Christmas finery?? There may still be time to put a little tiny New Year's eve hat on one!!!! So totally joking - the readers who aren't southerners probably think I am out of my mind. But you get it, right? Merry Christmas; beautiful shots!!!!

  12. Those are such great visual signs of the changing season! It's astonishing we don't have snow everywhere here in MN. I think it's keeping me from getting into the spirit of things!

  15. Beautiful photos! We're without snow so far this year too, which is odd for Southwestern Pennsylvania. We've had some flurries but nothing is sticking around too long.

  34. keep thinking about your transition down south and how different it is from Iowa... praying that this Christmas season brings you abundant wonder at this new (albeit strange) southern location you find yourself in... when I moved from DC to GA - it was a transition too :)
