Happy Day! My iPhone 5 is finally here! Squee! The photo quality is pretty amazing. 8 megapixels, 3264x2448 resolution, f/2.4 aperture, and a dynamic low-light mode. You can read more about this awesome camera here. I can hardly believe how great these look on my big screen. Makes it hard to want to drag my DSLR around, ha.
If you follow me on instagram some of these may be repeats for ya. If not, you can find me at projectalicia.
I had a glorious weekend with the fam soaking up some rays and enjoying God's beautiful handiwork. If you missed our ocean fun at Sullivan's Island, you can find those pics in my instagram gallery here.

ReplyDeleteYour photos are beautiful and stunning, like always!
ReplyDeleteThe first picture blew me away - stunning. I always wonder about professional photographers and what they think of Instagram and the iPhone cameras. I don't use my old camara anymore - just my iPhone. Love it.
ReplyDeleteAmazing shots! Feels like I were there too :)
ReplyDeleteI love the image of the two of them laying on the pier together. They look like they are deep in conversation!

Ooooo fancy, I like it =]
ReplyDeleteThanks for being a gracious host. Those are some great pictures. I am always such a big fan of your work. Thanks also for hooking up with my Wordless Wednesday. Hope to see you back next week.
ReplyDeleteYou are a great photographer.
ReplyDeleteHave a great Thanksgiving.
Gorgeous photos!! Looks like it was an awesome get-away! Quick question ... do you edit your iphone photos with an app or did you edit them when you uploaded them to your computer?
ReplyDeleteTish, Some were edited in phone with the instagram filters, some were edited after I downloaded them to my computer with photoshop and some have nothing. Isn't it amazing what is possible these days?
ReplyDeleteHa! Well, I try to only wash it every 2-3 days and dry shampoo is my saving grace. On days I wash it, it does take about 20 minutes to blow it out but normally I let it air dry and then curl it (which also takes about 20 minutes).
ReplyDeleteAlthough I am stoked about the quality of the iphone 5, I love my DSLR! It is stil the better choice for portraits and still life photography. Hands down. It is just nice to know that the 5 offers such a nice resolution when the big camera isn't handy.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous photos as always my dear. Thanks for linking up at my WW Linky and I hope to see you again today. ;)
