Nope. Doesn't get better with age folks. Maybe a little worse. Just hire it out. Trust me on this one, k? And by the way, this is why you may not be getting a Christmas card from us this year.

I did capture a few great ones of Pokey. You can see those on my facebook link here.

If you wanna join my linky party add your link below. Then hop over to other great WWs...

  14. I think my favorite is the shot of your son looking all "suave" with your daughter pulling him back with the scarf :)

  15. Love it! Those are the moments, aren't they?? For all the times my 4 rip each other apart, these moments make up for it! However, if my 7 yr old Diva were to see that dress, she'd be wrestling your daughter for it!! ;-))

    Happy WW!

  17. Those last two pictures are precious. I SO understand how hard it is to get good pictures of your kids!

  18. Those are CLASSIC!! I think I like them better than hired-out-perfect, honestly. I have been a Christmas Card perfectionist for the past 14 years I have had kids. This year, with one job lost in the family, is the first year I'm not doing cards - hoping for New Year's cards with happier news!

  20. Oh those are so much better than the 'good' ones, I'm sure! Those last two are my favorites!

We haven't even gotten as far as getting photos done yet this year - just started putting the tree up tonight, in fact. Hubby and I being sick all last week set us back... Sigh. I wonder if our photo shoot will be as much fun as yours looked to be! ;)

  23. They are too funny! I love how animated they are. My older kids would just stand there like, "*sigh* hurry up Mom". I love that photo of Little Man piggy backing Pokey. Too cute!

  45. Ahhh... the illusive Christmas photo. One year I took 100 pics of my two little ones by our tree and was going nuts. I finally bribed them with chocolate only to end up with a cute picture with the little man covered in chocolate and with his overall pant let all unsnapped. My husband said, "You aren't thinking of using that are you?!" With I crazed look of determination mixed with frustration, I said, "You bet I am!"

  46. so much fun! That last pic really is perfect!

  47. Sometimes those silly pictures are even better than the "good" ones. They certainly tell a fun story!

    ReplyDelete
  48. Such a fun series of photos! You can tell that they have a lot of fun together. Good luck with your Christmas cards!

    ReplyDelete
  49. They might be blunders, but those last 2 are card worthy IMO, especially the second to last. ;)

    Happy Wednesday!

  52. Never ending fun :) Their excitement really shows. Do you suppose they ham it up for the camera, they are certainly inventive.

    ReplyDelete
  53. I actually LOVE those, especially the ones with the Santa hats! Very cute...

    ReplyDelete
  54. Great site....love all your pictures!
    Christmas is fabulous with Children!

    Aloha, Lisa

  55. Are you kidding? I love these! Especially the one where they're riding piggy back ;)

    ReplyDelete
  56. The second to last one is a keeper! As a matter of fact, it's a star! Believe me - it doesn't get easier. After age 12, you are a lottery winner if you can get a smile (until 18). Unless, if you have boys, you can get the lemonade stand girl in the bikini to stand by you while you take family pictures!. . . oh, did I just flashback? It was so traumatic!
I love your pictures! Girls bring something different to the table - something graceful and beautiful:)
