Being from Kansas I have a soft spot for sunflowers too. My daughter is obsessed with them, so we planted every variety we could find. And in this drought we are currently experiencing they are the only thing in our garden growing right now!

ReplyDeleteLove sunflowers. When I was younger I went through a sunflower phase where I had them all over my house, now I cringe when I think about that. I even got a little sunflower tattoo (I also cringe about that too!). The are best appreciated in their natural environment and you captured their essence perfectly.
